Our Team

Jason Jew

The founder of Brookside Developments, Jason’s homebuilding experience began at the age of 29 when he built his first personal residence. Soon after, he quickly began adding new skills to his repertoire. Taking a deep interest in architecture, design, and the construction process, he decided that in order to truly deliver an exceptional home from start to finish, he needed to get more involved in the end- to- end process. He received his PMP in 2012 and EMBA in 2017 in Supply Chain Operations. This helped with managing risk, cost, and time. After 20 years in the business, it’s Jason’s firm belief that a strong working relationship between architect and construction team is the best approach to building the ideal custom home.

“Building a custom home is truly exciting when everyone involved is passionate about what they do and understands the needs of the client. An uncompromising attention to detail amongst all members of the building team makes all the difference.”

Rob Brown

Rob Brown is a 2nd-generation family builder, trained as a carpenter from an early age. While attending post-secondary education to become a school teacher, he realized his interest was in building and carpentry.

He decided to pursue his building career, taking a deep interest in woodworking and the construction process. Rob’s homebuilding experience began when he was 23 years old.

“From a young age, I’ve always enjoyed building things with wood, it just came naturally seeing how things were constructed, I made the jump to construction and I’ve never turned back.”

Robert Baillie & Marty Winfield
